Step 1. To create an inventory category you need to open the categories screen.

There is only one way to open the Item Category screen of the Advance Inventory that is from the left menu by clicking on Advance Inventory-->categories.

Step 2. Once you are on the Categories page click on the Blue button that says "Add Category".

1. Add Category: Users click the 'Add category' button, a new screen open then created a new category record.

2.Item Category Name: Users can see the name of the 'Item Category' in this column.

3.Count: Display the number of items against the "item category name " in this field.

4.Is Active: Users can choose the 'Active status' of the 'Category' in this dropdown.

5.Edit: Users click the 'Edit' button a new screen open in which we can update the record.

6.Next Page Button: Move to the Next page.

Step 3.Users click the 'Edit' button then we have a new screen open that we can update the existing record.

1.Category Name: Users can enter the name of the "Item Category" in this field.

2.Is Active: Users can choose the 'Active status' of the 'Item Category' in this dropdown.

3. Date Time Created: Users save the record, we have auto-generated date-time created in this header.

4.Date Time Last Modified: Users update our previous record, we have date-time in this header. 

5. Create & Close: User click the create & close button then it will redirect to the inventory setup page.

6. Create & Continue: User click the create & continue button then it will show the saved changing.
