Unit of Measure:

A unit of measurement defines in which units you count something in stock. 

For Example:

Various parts, discrete objects are counted in pieces. The unit of measure is typically abbreviated as 'pcs' for pieces, or 'ea' for each.

Step 1. There is only one way to open the Unit of Measure screen of Advance Inventory

that is from the left menu by clicking on Advance Inventory ------>  Setup  ------> Unit of Measure.

Step 2. Users click 'Unit of Measure' a new screen open in which we can see the UOM records.

1. Add UOM: Users click the "Add UOM" button, a new screen open in which we can enter the unit record.

2.ID: Users can see "ID" in this column.

3. Name: User can see the "Name" in this column.

4.Unit: Users can see the total number of "Units" in this column.

5.Edit: Users click the 'Edit' button then we have a new screen open that we can update the previous record.

Step 3. Users click the "Add UOM" button, a new screen open in which we can enter the unit record.

1. Name: Users can enter the "Name" in this field.

2.Unit: Users can enter the total number of "Units" in this field.

3. Save & Exit: If you click "Save and Exit", then it will redirect to the list page of the "Unit of Measure" screen.

4. Save & Continue: If you click "Save & Continue", then is will redirect to create screen after saving the record.
